ARMED GUARD TRAINING
The INKAS® Training Academy was founded with two goals in mind: to first create a program responsible for customized training for current and future security related assignments and second; to offer general, unique and specific training to the industry as a whole. The Academy utilizes both in-house and third party trainers and instructors. The Training Academy allows the Company to respond quickly to new assignments and contracts and ensures that all guards and personnel possess strict standards of proficiency.
All armed guards are required to train with live ammunition at a minimum of three times per year and must re-qualify for their ATC Certificate (Authorization to Carry a firearm) annually. Armoured car guards are required to pass the Armoured Car Driver Course as well as the Armoured Car Courier Course before employment commences and must be re-certified once every 2 years.
